Davis Island Garden Club wedding | Tampa wedding photographer

The following are some of our favorite images from the recent wedding of John and Glennis who got married at the Davis Island Garden Club. The venue is located next to the waterfront where the Hillsborough River meets Hillsborough Bay/Tampa Bay. This is such a beautiful location for a wedding and as experienced Tampa wedding photographers, this venue provided us with lots of great photo opportunities! Not only does it have great waterfront views, but the gorgeous Tampa skyline provides for some very dramatic backdrops, especially after the sun sets and the city lights light up the night sky.

Glennis got ready at the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk hotel, which is centrally located in downtown Tampa. Due to it’s close proximity to the University of Tampa, after Glennis got dressed we stopped by the campus and captured some great pre-wedding images there, before heading off to Davis Island for the ceremony and reception. The day was beautiful and everything went along incredibly smoothly. DJ Chuck Amstone was phenomenal as usual and kept everyone dancing and entertained the whole night. He provided a photo booth with was a huge hit with all of the guests. Dinner was superb and we loved watching how the catering team cooked an amazing paella on the very large pan for everyone to admire prior to dinner service. This was a beautiful wedding and a very memorable night for everyone present. We wish John and Glennis a lifetime of happiness and wedded bliss!!
