Apollo – 9 month session – Tampa baby portrait photographer

Kids grow up sooooo fast! I see it watching my own daughter who is now five and it only seems like yesterday that I was bringing her home from the hospital after she was born. I also see it as I photograph my clients baby portraits and in particular their newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 1 year sessions.

I have been lucky enough to photograph all four boys for Jasmine and Jamie. I have watched as each baby grows up and develops their own unique style and personality. I love watching them and seeing how they interact with each other and express themselves. It is such a joy to watch how proud Jasmine and Jamie are of each one of their boys and how happy they are every time we deliver the final images from each baby portrait session. I not only capture each one of her boys at a precious stage of their life, but also all of the four brothers together. I am already looking forward to the 1 year baby portrait session. That session is always soooo much fun! Why you ask???? Balloons and cake + 1 year old = LOTS OF FUN!!!

Ishaan – Tampa baby portrait photographer – www.evaphotostudio.com

What a great honor we had recently. A few weeks ago, we were contacted and asked about photographing a baby session for a couple that was visiting from New Jersey. A local friend of theirs referred them to us. We are so honored whenever others recommend us and this is no exception. We love our clients and are so thankful for each and every referral. Thank you very much to everyone who has taken the time to share their beautiful images with others and spread the word about what we have to offer! We truly couldn’t continue to grow without your support!!

Below are some of our favorite images from the baby session of Ishaan. He was so cute!! Very curious and observant! He was constantly watching everything we were doing, even during the times when we were changing backdrops or when he was changing outfits! We had a lot of fun being silly and trying to get him to smile. His proud parents brought several outfits and were very helpful throughout the entire photo shoot. They were very receptive to all of our photo ideas, both in the studio and when we suggested heading to some nearby outdoor locations. We also took the opportunity to capture some great family portraits, in which you what a beautiful family they are! We had a ton of fun and love the way the images turned out.

Aiden is here!!! Tampa baby portrait photographer

We just had another opportunity to capture some amazing images of a newborn baby for a mom that we had also done a maternity session for. What is so wonderful about these sessions is that we get to know the mom very well prior to and after the baby is born. We get to share in the excitement and anticipation prior to the baby being born and then all of the beauty and awe of seeing that little angel after they are born. As I photograph the baby, I am often thinking to myself what an amazing miracle this little baby is and how lucky I am to share in this experience with all of these special moms! I am honored to be able to capture such precious memories for them and which will become a cherished family heirloom for generations to come.

Photographing Kristen and her baby has been a joy. Kristen is such a nice person and just has a natural beauty and presence in front of the camera. She is very relaxed and easy to work with. Originally when we did her maternity session and suggested mixing outdoor locations and the studio shoot, she just went with it! This time was no different. She loved all of the ideas we had for photographing little Aiden. We got some great images of him in many cute poses, props and outfits. We also got some very beautiful images of mom and son that are just so beautiful to look at. You can just see how much she loves Aiden and how precious he is to her. As experienced Tampa newborn photographers, we love when we can connect with our subjects and follow their precious journey through their pregnancy and then through motherhood and the many stages that their newborn child will go through. We are already looking forward to seeing little Aiden again in a few months!

Apollo is back! – Tampa family portrait photographer – www.evaphotostudio.com

The boys are back! Jasmine brought little Apollo in for another one of his portrait sessions. Ever since she had her first child, Jasmine has wanted to capture the various stages of their childhood. As such, she has always signed up for the newborn session followed by a session every three months (3 months, 9 months and 1 year). It is amazing how much a baby grows in that first year and we are so happy that we have witnessed as each one of her boys has grown up in front of our cameras and lenses. Apollo is the fourth of her boys that we have photographed. By now they are all little pros in front of the camera. They are such a loving family and I think that it really shows when you see images with all of the brothers together!

Since the last time that Jasmine stopped by, we bought some new backdrops and props and we are thrilled with how these latest images turned out. But with little models as cute as her boys, we just knew that the photos were going to turn out amazing!!

Marli is Here!! – Tampa baby portrait photographer

It is so amazing that only three weeks ago we were doing a beautiful maternity photo session for Mindy and less than three weeks later, we were photographing her little daugther.  On Sunday we photographed this precious little angel. We welcomed Mindy and her sister (who was visiting from frigid Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), and little Marli to our studio.   Mindy and her sister helped us get little Marli into all of the precious little outfits and poses.  Her sister was such a proud auntie, constantly “ooohing” and “aaaahing” at all of the cute poses we were capturing and giving her peeks at the images on our camera.  I have a feeling that she will be making excuses to visit her sister and Marli many more times in the future.

Below are some of our favorite images from this session. For those of you that follow us on a regular basis, you will  notice that we have added some wonderful new little hats and baby outfits. Added a new backdrop too.  We are always looking for ways to keep our images fresh and exciting. As one of the premier Tampa baby portrait photographers, we at Eva Photo Studio are thrilled at how beautiful these images turned out and look forward to capturing more images of Marli when she returns for her 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and her 1 year baby portrait sessions. So keep checking back as we photograph this beautiful angel over the next year!

As a photographer, it is always good to constantly practice our craft and fine tune our skills. We are lucky that we have a beautiful model living with us. Yes, she is only five, but she is readily available, if not always thrilled to model for us. But promises of McDonalds or a new toy will often turn a reluctant model into a happy and willing subject!! This recent photo session had the added benefit of us trying out our newest lens. We like to buy new equipment, when we feel it will improve our pictures. We recently purchased a new Canon lens. It is the wonderful Canon 100mm f 2.8 macro lens. It is an incredibly sharp lens that we are now using to augment our portrait and wedding photography. Another benefit, that you will see in our upcoming weddings, is that this is a true macro lens. As such, we will be able to photograph small object, wedding rings in particular, with amazing detail and clarity. As a Tampa wedding photographer, we are super excited by being able to add this new tool to the other lenses we already have at our disposal. We have already been testing those macro capabilities with flowers, small rings, coins and other small objects. It is amazing how much detail this lens captures and you won’t ever look at small things in the same way again after shooting in macro mode!

The images below showcase some of our recent work with our new lens. Again, we love the sharpness of the images that this lens produces. In the coming weeks we will try to publish some macro images that will showcase the amazing ability of this lens to capture the smallest details of even the smallest objects. As a Tampa family portrait photographer, we are always pushing ourselves to always deliver new and creative images, using the latest tools and technology at our disposal. We hope that you enjoy the images that we post and always look forward to showing off our latest image creations!

Maternity portrait session – Tampa maternity photographer – www.evaphotostudio.com

This past Sunday we photographed a wonderful maternity session. Prior to the session, we scouted several locations and came up with a lot of great ideas. We really wanted some beautiful outdoor images, along with some studio images. Luckily the weather on Sunday was very nice. Not too cold or too hot, just about perfect. We first headed out to a nearby lake and field to take some pictures with her in the first outfit. These pictures turned out great, especially the ones with the black outfit flowing beautifully in the afternoon breeze. As a Tampa maternity portrait photographer, we couldn’t have asked for a better model. Kristen was so easy to work with, and although she swore she has never modeled before, she was incredibly at ease in front of the camera and was always happy to try out all of our suggested poses and ideas.

After some time at the first location, we headed out to the second location where we trekked into a wooded area that had a nice open area, completely surround by trees. The afternoon sun shone through the trees and created some magical images. Some of our favorite images were taken during this part of the session.

After finishing the outdoor shots, we headed back to the studio. We picked up some snacks and prior to taking more pictures, just sat around eating and getting to know Kristen better. Soon afterwards, we started taking pictures in our studio. We captured a lot of great images that afternoon, too many to add to this posting. Below are just a few of our favorite images. We wish Kristen a continued safe pregnancy and look forward to seeing her beautiful little angel, after he is born.

Christmas family portrait – www.evaphotostudio – Trinity portrait photographer

This is a some images from the wonderful family portrait session we did with one of our regular clients. Normally we photograph just the little ones, but this time we got the honor of doing family portraits as well as baby portraits. They are such a wonderful family and we always look forward to seeing Esthela and her family.

The pictures turned out so beautiful that they ordered several hundred of our custom, press printed baby announcement cards as well as holiday cards. Being a Trinity, Florida portrait photographer is so rewarding, but seeing how happy and proud the parents are after seeing the final images…..we like the famous credit card commercial says…..PRICELESS!!!!

Holiday Session – Tampa baby portrait photographer – www.evaphotostudio.com

As the holidays rapidly approach, we have been very busy shooting lots of holiday family and baby sessions. The following images are from a session we did for Mina and consisted of photographing her two beautiful sons. We had photographed the youngest, Stavros, several months earlier for his baptism. It was great to see him again and see how much he has grown. He is still incredibly adorable!

The session got off to a slow start as Stavros started crying uncontrollably. Mina told us that he is very afraid of doctors and since he was in a new place (our studio) he was scared that this was a visit to a doctors office. We work with babies and kids a lot, so we know that you have to be very patient with them and allow them to get comfortable with the studio environment. When Stavros still wasn’t comfortable after 10-20 minutes, we decided that it might be best if we left the studio for a nearby park. Once we got there, Stavros and his brother started running around and being very playful. We chased after them and got some fantastic pictures of them in front of a Christmas manger scene, a beautiful oak tree and of course a fantastic Christmas tree that had a lot of wonderful decorations. After about a half hour of outdoor shooting, we headed back to the studio. By now, both of the boys were very comfortable with us and we were able to get some really beautiful images inside the studio.

We are so happy with the results of the photo shoot. Mina also loved these pictures and ordered some beautiful , press printed holiday cards that were specially designed for her by Eva Photo Studio. It was a pleasure working with Mina and her two sons. We hope that everyone enjoys their holidays and we look forward to seeing everyone again in the new year!
